Prezygotisista is a term that appears in some Polish-language discussions as a nominal form built with the suffix -ista. It may refer, in informal use, to a person who studies or emphasizes prezygotic isolation mechanisms in the context of speciation, or more generally to someone who advocates the importance of prezygotic barriers. The term is not a standard designation in mainstream scientific Polish; more common terms are prezygoticzny (prezygotic) and izolacja prezygotyczna (prezygotic isolation).

In biology, prezygotic isolation refers to barriers that prevent mating or fertilization between species before a zygote is formed.
