porttiinjektion
Porttiinjektion, often translated as "port injection," is a fuel delivery system used in internal combustion engines. It functions by injecting fuel directly into the intake port of each cylinder, just before the intake valve. This contrasts with traditional throttle body injection, where fuel is introduced into the throttle body, or direct injection, where fuel is sprayed directly into the combustion chamber.
In a port injection system, a fuel injector is positioned in the intake manifold or intake port
Port injection offers advantages such as improved fuel atomization and distribution compared to older carburetor systems.
