plazma
Plazma, often transliterated as plasma in English, refers to a state of matter in which a gas has been ionized to the point that electrons are separated from atoms. It consists of ions, electrons, and neutral particles and is the fourth fundamental state of matter, distinct from solids, liquids, and non-ionized gases. Plasmas are highly electrically conductive and respond strongly to electric and magnetic fields. They are abundant in the universe, forming stars, nebulae, and the interstellar medium, and are routinely created on Earth for applications ranging from fluorescent lighting and plasma televisions to material processing and fusion research.
