Plazma, often transliterated as plasma in English, refers to a state of matter in which a gas has been ionized to the point that electrons are separated from atoms. It consists of ions, electrons, and neutral particles and is the fourth fundamental state of matter, distinct from solids, liquids, and non-ionized gases.
