planai

Planai is a mountain station located in the Austrian province of Styria, on the north side of the Planai mountain, in the province's skiing region. Elevated at 1920 meters above sea level, it serves as a central hub for skiing and winter sports. Planai together with the nearby mountain station Reiteralm and the Stubnerkogel form the skiing complex Planai/Reiteralm, also known as Rogner Bad Resort.

The Planai mountain station caters to the needs of guests with a wide range of accommodations and facilities, including hotels, a spa and wellness centre, and several restaurants. During the winter season, ski hire, equipment storage and maintenance services are offered for assistance with managing and caring for one’s equipment. Additionally, snowed-off paths are cleared to ensure access for winter hiking and tobogganing activities.

The skiing area surrounding the Planai mountain station stretches across both sides of the mountain, covering a surprising amount of ground and playing host to over 100 kilometers of skiing trails. The Planai ski resort offers opportunities for skiers of all levels, providing profiles suitable for beginners, up to highly challenging trails for expert skiers. Cross-country skiing paths as well are offered, built to international competition standards.

In addition to skiing, Planai guests have access to indoor and outdoor swimming pools and of course the exclusive wellness centre with treatments for relaxation of body and mind.
