Pirrolowych is an adjective used in Polish to refer to pyrrole-related compounds, elements, or properties derived from the heterocyclic ring known as pyrrole. Pyrrole itself is a five-membered ring containing four carbon atoms and one nitrogen atom, with aromatic character.

The pyrrole ring is planar and participates in an aromatic system with six pi electrons, of which the nitrogen lone pair contributes to the aromatic sextet. This arrangement makes the ring relatively electron-rich and prone to electrophilic substitution mainly at the 2- and 3-positions. Etymology traces the term to the Greek pyrros, meaning flame, reflecting the historical naming of the heterocycle. In Polish scientific usage, pirrolowych denotes things related to pyrrole structures, properties, or derivatives.
