Pingevõimendite, known in English as voltage amplifiers, are electronic circuits designed to increase the amplitude of a voltage signal. Various types of voltage amplifiers exist, categorized by their circuit topology and operating characteristics. Common examples include common-emitter, common-collector, and common-base amplifiers in transistor circuits, and common-cathode and common-grid amplifiers in vacuum tube circuits.

Voltage amplifiers are essential in applications such as audio systems, where they boost the weak signal from a microphone or music player to drive loudspeakers. They are also found in instrumentation, enabling sensitive measurements of small signals, and in radio receivers to amplify incoming radio waves.
