Pigmentációra is a Hungarian term that translates to "pigmentation" in English. Pigmentation is primarily caused by pigments, which are natural coloring agents.

The most common pigment in humans and many other animals is melanin. Melanin is responsible for the color of skin, hair, and eyes. Its production is influenced by genetics and exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Different types and amounts of melanin can result in a wide spectrum of colors, from light to dark skin tones, and various shades of hair and eye color.
