Periyttäviä refers to genetic traits or characteristics that can be passed down from parents to offspring. This concept is a fundamental principle of heredity and is studied in the field of genetics. The transmission of periyttäviä traits occurs through reproduction. During sexual reproduction, each parent contributes half of their genetic material to their offspring.
