pensamos

Pensamos is the first-person plural present indicative form of the Spanish verb pensar, meaning to think, consider, or plan. As with other present indicative forms, it denotes a current thought or, in some contexts, a near-term intention or plan.

In usage, pensamos is often followed by que to express an opinion or belief: “Pensamos que la propuesta es viable” (We think the proposal is viable). It can also be followed by en to indicate what someone is thinking about: “Pensamos en ti” (We are thinking about you). In some cases, pensar is used with an infinitive to convey intention or plans: “Pensamos viajar mañana” (We plan to travel tomorrow) or “Pensamos empezar después de comer” (We are thinking of starting after lunch). The verb exhibits a stem change in present tense forms (e → ie) except in the nosotros and vosotros forms, which maintain the regular stem: yo pienso, tú piensas, él piensa, nosotros pensamos, vosotros pensáis, ellos piensan.
