painovoimakentillä
Painovoimakentillä, often translated as "gravitational fields" in English, refers to the concept of how massive objects warp the fabric of spacetime. This warping creates a force that we perceive as gravity. Instead of viewing gravity as a force pulling objects together, Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity describes it as a consequence of the curvature of spacetime. Imagine a heavy ball placed on a stretched rubber sheet; the ball creates a dip, and any smaller marbles rolled nearby will curve towards the ball due to this dip. Similarly, planets, stars, and other massive bodies create these distortions in spacetime, influencing the paths of objects around them.
The strength and extent of a gravitational field are directly related to the mass of the object
