Paineetilavuuskäyrä, often referred to as PV-käyrä, is a graphical representation illustrating the relationship between pressure and volume of a thermodynamic system. Typically, pressure is plotted on the y-axis and volume on the x-axis. This curve provides valuable insights into the state and processes occurring within the system.

For an ideal gas, the PV-käyrä follows Boyle's Law at a constant temperature, where the product of pressure and volume is constant (PV = k). This results in a hyperbolic shape.
