Otsalohkossa refers to the frontal lobe of the brain. It is the largest lobe in the human brain, located at the front of each cerebral hemisphere, extending from the forehead back to the central sulcus. This region is crucial for a wide range of higher-level cognitive functions, often referred to as executive functions.

The frontal lobe plays a significant role in planning, decision-making, problem-solving, and voluntary movement. It is also involved in personality, social behavior, impulse control, and language production (specifically Broca's area, typically located in the left frontal lobe). The prefrontal cortex, the most anterior part of the frontal lobe, is particularly important for complex cognitive tasks such as abstract thinking, working memory, and goal-directed behavior.
