ostettavasta
Ostettavasta is a Finnish grammatical form rather than a standalone lexical item. It is the elative singular form of the attributive adjective ostettava, which comes from the verb ostaa (to buy) and means “to be bought” or “buyable.” In Finnish, adjectives agree with the noun they modify, and when the noun is in the elative case, the adjective also takes the corresponding elative form, resulting in ostettavasta.
Ostettava describes something intended for purchase. Ostettavasta is used to modify a noun in contexts where
- ostettavasta tavarasta: of the goods to be bought (or about the goods to be purchased)
- ostettavasta valikoimasta: from the assortment to be bought
In a sentence: Tiedot ostettavasta tavarasta löytyivät katalogista. (The information about the goods to be bought
