ortofotosid
Ortofotop is a term that appears to be a misspelling or a non-standard term within photogrammetry or remote sensing. The standard term is "orthophoto." An orthophoto is an aerial or satellite photograph that has been geometrically corrected to remove distortions caused by the camera's tilt and terrain relief. This correction process, known as orthorectification, results in an image with a uniform scale, similar to a map. Unlike a standard aerial photograph, where features appear to shift their position depending on their elevation, an orthophoto displays features in their true planimetric position. This makes orthophotos highly valuable for accurate measurements of distance, area, and location. They are widely used in various fields including mapping, land surveying, urban planning, environmental monitoring, and emergency response. The creation of an orthophoto typically requires a digital elevation model (DEM) of the area depicted in the photograph and precise camera or sensor calibration data.
