oleskiville

Oleskiville is a town and municipality in the central plains of Veridia. It is the administrative center of Oleskiville District and sits along the Verin River, about 60 kilometers from Veridia City. The town's population is approximately 12,000, and it covers an area of about 40 square kilometers.

Founded in the late 18th century by agrarian settlers, Oleskiville grew around agricultural processing facilities and a regional timber trade. It received municipal status in the 19th century and developed a market square, a railway station, and later a small industrial park.

The local economy is diversified, with agriculture (grain and fruit), light manufacturing, and logistics. The Verin River provides irrigation and supports a modest port for bulk goods. The surrounding countryside features mixed farming and woodland.

Oleskiville operates under a mayor-council system. A directly elected mayor and an eight-member town council make local decisions. The town is served by a library, a clinic, two primary schools and a secondary school, and regional police and fire services.

The town hosts an annual Harvest Festival and a weekly market in the central square. Sports include a local football club, Oleskiville FC, and various community groups. Transportation includes a regional road network and a connecting rail line that serves freight and passenger trains.
