Nyelését is a Hungarian grammatical form derived from nyelés, the noun meaning swallowing. Nyelés itself comes from nyelni (to swallow) and the nominalization -és. The form nyelését represents the swallowing of a specific third person and is used as a definite direct object in a sentence. In Hungarian, this is achieved by adding the third-person possessive suffix to the noun (indicating “his/her/its swallowing”) together with the definite direct-object suffix -t, yielding nyelését.
