Nuclear energy is harnessed predominantly for electricity production through nuclear power plants. This process produces heat, which is used to generate steam and drive turbines for electricity. Despite its advantages in providing a substantial and reliable energy supply, the nucléaire sector faces challenges such as high costs, nuclear safety, and public opposition amid environmental and health concerns. As technology advances, the pursuit of newer methods like nuclear fusion remains a focus area, seeking to offer cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions in the future.
