netzwerkbildend
Netzwerkbildend is a German adjective describing substances, materials or processes that form a network, typically a connected, three-dimensional framework. The term combines Netzwerk (network) and bildend (forming) and is used across disciplines to denote the capacity to create a network rather than to remain as discrete units.
In chemistry and materials science, netzwerkbildende Verbindungen form extended networks through covalent or strong secondary interactions.
In materials design, network-forming networks can create porous or composite structures, including gels, aerogels, and scaffolds
