neliöulotteinen
Neliöulotteinen, meaning "four-dimensional" in Finnish, refers to a concept in mathematics and physics. In geometry, a four-dimensional object exists in a space with four independent dimensions. While we typically perceive and experience three spatial dimensions (length, width, and height) and one temporal dimension (time), mathematicians can abstractly define and study spaces with any number of dimensions. A common way to visualize four dimensions is to consider time as the fourth dimension, leading to the concept of spacetime. In this context, an event is described by its position in three spatial dimensions and its moment in time.
The mathematics of four-dimensional spaces is an extension of the familiar Euclidean geometry of lower dimensions.
