neitelné

Neitelný is a nonstandard or extremely rarely attested Czech adjective. It does not appear in major Czech dictionaries and is not considered part of standard usage. In most contexts where it appears, it is treated as a misspelling, typographical error, or a nonce coinage rather than a recognized linguistic form.

Etymology and analysis

If encountered, neitelný is typically analyzed as a mistaken formation rather than a legitimate derivation in Czech. The usual negated adjectives in Czech are built with the prefix ne- plus a standard stem and the suffix -telný or -itelný (for example, nečitelný “unreadable”). Neitelný lacks a widely attested stem to which -telný could legitimately attach, and the form does not correspond to established morphological patterns. Some readers may equate it with nečitelný or with other common negations, depending on context, but such equivalences are informal and not normative.
