Nagylábujj, also known as the hallux, is the innermost digit of the human foot. It is the largest and thickest of the five toes and plays a crucial role in weight-bearing and propulsion during locomotion. The nagylábujj is composed of three bones called phalanges, specifically the proximal and distal phalanges, and is anchored by a metatarsal bone, the first metatarsal. It articulates with the foot at the first metatarsophalangeal joint.
