Newtonowskich is a small village located in the administrative district of Gmina Czermonice, within the boundaries of Łuków County in the Lublin Voivodeship of eastern Poland. The settlement lies approximately 7 kilometres southeast of the county seat Łuków and about 71 kilometres north of Lublin, the voivodeship capital. The village's geophysical coordinates place it at an elevation of roughly 160 metres above sea level, and it is situated just south of the Łuków Forest, a mixed coniferous and deciduous woodland that provides local biodiversity and opportunities for forestry and eco‑tourism.

The origins of Newtonowskich can be traced back to the 16th century, when the estate was granted to a Polish noble family of the Newtonowski lineage as part of a larger land redistribution following the Union of Lublin. Throughout the centuries, the settlement developed as a modest agrarian community, with residents engaged primarily in subsistence farming, animal husbandry, and small-scale forestry. During the partitions of Poland, Newtonowskich fell under the ownership of the Austrian Empire's Galicia region, and later it became part of the Russian-controlled Congress Poland until the re‑establishment of Polish independence in 1918.

The current population of Newtonowskich is estimated at approximately 380 inhabitants, with demographic trends reflecting a slight decline due to urban migration and lower birth rates. The local economy remains largely agricultural, supplemented by forestry services and local craftsmanship.
