Månedsvisning, meaning "monthly display" in Danish, refers to a complication found on some watches and clocks that shows the current month in addition to the date. This feature typically displays the month in a window on the dial, often near the date display. More complex månedsvisning mechanisms can also indicate the number of days in the month, automatically adjusting for months with fewer than 31 days.

The presence of a månedsvisning significantly increases the complexity of a watch's movement compared to a simple date display. It requires additional gears and levers to track the progression of months and, in more advanced versions, to account for the varying lengths of months. The most sophisticated månedsvisning complications are known as perpetual calendars, which can also account for leap years and will not require manual adjustment for centuries. While often seen on luxury timepieces due to their intricate engineering, simpler månedsvisning functions are also available on more accessible watches.
