märkäperho
Märkäperho is a Finnish term that literally translates to "wet fly." It refers to a type of fishing fly used in fly fishing. These flies are designed to imitate aquatic insects or other small organisms that live in or near the water's surface and are often caught by fish. Unlike dry flies, which are designed to float on the surface, or streamers, which imitate larger baitfish, wet flies are intended to be fished submerged beneath the surface of the water.
