mutaa
Mutaa is a term used in Islamic jurisprudence to refer to a woman who is not menstruating, has not given birth, and is not pregnant. The term is derived from the Arabic word "mut'a", which means "free" or "unrestricted". In Islamic law, a mutaa woman is considered to be in a state of purity and is allowed to perform certain acts that are prohibited to menstruating women. These acts include touching the Quran, entering the mosque during prayer times, and participating in certain religious rituals. However, a mutaa woman is still required to observe certain restrictions, such as not touching the dead or engaging in certain types of physical contact with men. The concept of mutaa is based on the belief that a woman's physical state can affect her spiritual purity and, consequently, her ability to perform certain religious duties. The term is not used in the same way in all Islamic schools of thought, and some scholars may have different interpretations or opinions on the matter.
