Multiepoxides are organic compounds containing more than one epoxide functional group. An epoxide, also known as an oxirane, is a three-membered ring consisting of one oxygen atom and two carbon atoms. These rings are highly strained and reactive, readily undergoing ring-opening reactions with various nucleophiles.
