Muistilauseen, also known as the "Memorial Clause," is a provision in the Finnish Constitution that guarantees the right to remembrance and commemoration of the victims of the Winter War (1939-1940) and the Continuation War (1941-1944). These wars were part of the larger Continuation War, which was fought between Finland and the Soviet Union. The Memorial Clause was added to the Constitution in 1946, shortly after Finland's independence was restored.
