Monilevynen refers to a type of hard drive storage technology that involves multiple physical disks, or platters, stacked on a single spindle. Each platter is coated with a magnetic material and is capable of storing data on both its top and bottom surfaces. A read/write head moves across the surface of each platter to access and write data.
