Moduloihin, also known as modular arithmetic or the modulo operation, is a system of arithmetic that deals with remainders. For example, 10 modulo 3 is 1, because 10 divided by 3 is 3 with a remainder of 1. This is often represented mathematically as a ≡ b (mod n), meaning that a and b have the same remainder when divided by n.

Modulo arithmetic is fundamental in many areas of mathematics and computer science.
