Mobilisotintuna is a biological species of protist belonging to the class Ochromonadina, a group of flagellate microorganisms. This species is characterized by a unique combination of morphological and cellular characteristics.

Mobilisotintuna cells are typically elongated and flagellated, with one to four flagella arranged in a specific pattern. They have a rounded or oval cell body with a size range of approximately 5-15 micrometers in length. The cell membrane is thin and translucent, allowing for the observation of the internal cellular structures.

Mobilisotintuna is an autotrophic organism, capable of photosynthetic growth. It is commonly found in aquatic environments, including freshwater lakes, rivers, and ponds. It was previously found to be present in large quantities in the oligotrophic Lake Baikal in Russia.

The cells of Mobilisotintuna secrete reproductive spores, which upon becoming water-borne, can be dispersed over long distances. Once dehiscence (the breaking of spore dispersal) occurs, these spores generate new vegetative cells capable of auto-reproduction. This trait has led scientific observers to note how effective Mobilisotintuna's preservation of overall progeny numbers might become, under a possible profound environmental fluctuation.
