Misucie is a village situated in the Masovian Voivodeship of east-central Poland. It lies within the administrative boundaries of Gmina Żuromin in Żuromin County. The settlement is positioned approximately 115 kilometres northwest of Warsaw and about 3 kilometres north of the town of Żuromin, making it part of the Greater Poland historical region’s rural landscape.

The first recorded mention of Misucie dates to the early 15th century, when it appeared in cadastre documents as a small agricultural community owned by local nobility. Over the centuries, the village has maintained a predominantly agrarian character, with small-scale farming and forestry forming the economic backbone. During the January Uprising of 1863, the area surrounding Misucie experienced sporadic skirmishes, reflecting the broader national struggle against Russian imperial rule. In the post–World War II period, the village became incorporated into the communist collectivization schemes, leading to the establishment of a state agricultural farm that operated until the reforms of the 1990s.

Today, Misucie has an estimated population of around 250 residents. The local economy remains largely based on agriculture, supplemented by small-scale retail and services that cater to the immediate community. The village maintains traditional Polish rural architecture, with a 19th‑century wooden church serving as a focal point for community life. Public infrastructure includes a primary school, a volunteer fire department, and connectivity roads linking it to the regional transport network.
