Miniailerons are small control surfaces that function similarly to traditional ailerons on an aircraft wing. Their primary purpose is to control the roll of an aircraft. Unlike full-sized ailerons, which are typically located at the trailing edge of the wingtip and span a significant portion of the wing's chord, miniailerons are considerably smaller and often positioned closer to the wing's root or mid-span.

The design and implementation of miniailerons vary depending on the specific aircraft and its intended application. They can be used as a primary roll control surface on smaller or lighter aircraft where the aerodynamic forces are less demanding.
