Milimetr, written as millimeter in many languages, is a unit of length in the metric system equal to one thousandth of a meter. The symbol for the unit is mm. As part of the International System of Units (SI), the millimeter is a decimal subdivision of the meter, with 1 millimeter = 0.001 meters.
