A hundredth is a fractional part equal to one part in a hundred. It corresponds to the fraction 1/100 and is written in decimal form as 0.01. In percentages, a hundredth is 1 percent. In the decimal system, the hundredth place is the second digit to the right of the decimal point, after the tenths place.

In measurement, the prefix centi- denotes a factor of 10^-2, giving units such as centimeter (0.01 meter) and centiliter (0.01 liter). The term hundredth is also used when describing fractions of time, money, or quantities, such as 0.25 seconds or 0.75 dollars, where the digits after the decimal indicate hundredths.
