Mikroaaltosäteilyksi is a Finnish term that translates to "microwave radiation" in English. It refers to electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths ranging from about one meter to one millimeter, or equivalently, with frequencies between 300 MHz (0.3 GHz) and 300 GHz. This part of the electromagnetic spectrum falls between radio waves and infrared radiation.

Microwave radiation has various applications due to its ability to penetrate many materials, including clothing and plastics, while being reflected by metals.
