mesosfære
The mesosphere is the third layer of Earth's atmosphere, situated above the stratosphere and below the thermosphere. Its altitude ranges from about 50 to 85 kilometers (31 to 53 miles) above the Earth's surface. Temperature decreases with altitude in the mesosphere, reaching the coldest temperatures in the Earth's atmosphere, often below -90 degrees Celsius (-130 degrees Fahrenheit). This extreme cold is a defining characteristic of this atmospheric layer.
The mesosphere is a region where meteors burn up upon entering the Earth's atmosphere, creating visible streaks
Due to its altitude and extreme cold, direct exploration of the mesosphere by aircraft is not feasible.
