Membránach is a term that can refer to several related concepts, primarily in the fields of biology and chemistry. The most well-known biological membrane is the cell membrane, also known as the plasma membrane, which encloses the cytoplasm of all cells. Organelles within eukaryotic cells also possess membranes, such as the nuclear envelope, endoplasmic reticulum, and Golgi apparatus, which compartmentalize cellular functions.

Examples include reverse osmosis membranes, which are used to desalente water, or dialysis membranes, employed in medical treatments to filter waste products from the blood. These synthetic membranes are typically made from polymers and are engineered with specific pore sizes to allow or block the passage of different molecules. The term "membránach" itself, when used in a Czech context, directly translates to "membranes" in the plural. Therefore, its usage would depend on the specific context, referring either to multiple biological membranes within an organism or multiple artificial membranes in a technological application.
