Maksujakso (Finnish for "billing period" or "payment period") is a term used in Finnish financial and contractual language to denote the time span for which charges are calculated and billed. It defines the period over which services are provided or usage is measured and from which invoices are issued. Common durations for maksujakso are monthly, quarterly, or annual. For utilities, telecommunications, software subscriptions, and rental agreements, the maksujakso aligns with the cadence of billing and governs how often a new invoice is issued and how usage or charges are summed.

Maksujakso is related to, but distinct from, maksuaika (payment term). The maksujakso determines the period of charges; maksuaika specifies how long the customer has to settle the invoice after it is issued.
