Magfázisai refers to the distinct stages or phases that a magnetic material undergoes as its temperature changes, particularly in relation to its magnetic properties. These phases are determined by the alignment and behavior of the magnetic moments within the material.

The most fundamental phase transition is the Curie temperature (Tc). Above the Curie temperature, a ferromagnetic material becomes paramagnetic. In the paramagnetic phase, the thermal energy is sufficient to overcome the alignment forces between magnetic moments, causing them to be randomly oriented and the material to lose its spontaneous magnetization. Below the Curie temperature, the material enters the ferromagnetic phase, where the magnetic moments align spontaneously, resulting in a net magnetic moment and the material exhibiting ferromagnetism.

Another important transition occurs at the Néel temperature (Tn) for antiferromagnetic materials. Below the Néel temperature, neighboring magnetic moments align in an antiparallel fashion, resulting in no net magnetic moment. Above the Néel temperature, the material becomes paramagnetic as thermal agitation disrupts this antiparallel ordering.

Some materials can also exhibit other magnetic phases, such as ferrimagnetism, which is similar to ferromagnetism but involves unequal antiparallel alignment of magnetic moments, leading to a net magnetic moment. The transitions between these phases are characterized by changes in magnetic susceptibility and other magnetic properties. Understanding these magfázisai is crucial for applications involving magnetic materials, such as data storage, sensors, and permanent magnets.
