Magazinförderung refers to the process of moving ammunition from a magazine into the firing chamber of a firearm. This is a critical step in the semi-automatic and automatic operation of most modern firearms. In many semi-automatic pistols and rifles, the recoil generated by firing a round is used to operate a bolt or slide.
