Lämpömittaustekniikka, also known as thermometry, is the science and practice of measuring temperature. It encompasses the principles, methods, and instruments used to determine the degree of hotness or coldness of an object or system. The fundamental principle behind most temperature measurement is the exploitation of a physical property that changes predictably with temperature.
