lämmitysradiaattorit
Lämmitysradiaattorit, often referred to simply as radiators, are heat emitters used in central heating systems. Their primary function is to transfer heat from a boiler or other heat source to the surrounding air in a room, thereby warming the space. The most common type of radiator is the hydronic radiator, which circulates hot water or steam from a central heating unit. As the hot fluid flows through the radiator's passages, it heats the metal surfaces. These surfaces then radiate heat into the room and also heat the air through convection, which rises and circulates.
Modern radiators come in various designs and materials, with steel and cast iron being the most prevalent.
