The core principle behind the log-log method is that a power-law relationship, expressed as y = ax^b, becomes a linear relationship when both sides are taken in logarithm: log(y) = log(a) + b*log(x). In this linear form, the slope of the line represents the exponent 'b', and the y-intercept represents the logarithm of the constant 'a'.
