Limet is not a term with a single, established meaning in English-language references. In most contexts where it appears, limet is likely a misspelling or variation of lime, the common name for several things: the citrus fruit produced by lime trees (Citrus species such as Citrus aurantiifolia or Citrus × latifolia); the lime tree itself; and the mineral-based substance called lime (calcium oxide) used in construction and chemistry.
