lenfoproliferative
Lenfoproliferative refers to a group of disorders characterized by the abnormal proliferation of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell. These conditions can range from benign reactive processes to malignant cancers. Reactive lymphoproliferative disorders are typically caused by an overactive immune response to an infection, inflammation, or other stimulus. The lymphocytes multiply to help fight off the cause, but this proliferation is temporary and resolves once the underlying issue is addressed.
In contrast, lymphoproliferative neoplasms are malignant conditions where lymphocytes grow uncontrollably and do not function properly.
