latchströmmen
Latchströmmen is a Swedish term that translates to "latch current" or "holding current" in English. It refers to the minimum current required to maintain the conductive state of a latching relay or a similar bistable electronic device. Once a latching device has been activated or switched on, it will remain in its current state even if the activating signal is removed. However, a certain level of continuous current, the latchströmmen, is necessary to keep it in that state.
If the current drops below the latchströmmen, the device will revert to its default or off state.
