Lastbrunn is a municipality situated in the district of Grieskirchen in Upper Austria. The community occupies a gently rolling landscape at an elevation of around 440 meters above sea level and is surrounded by a mixture of agricultural land and forested hills. The village itself lies along the tracks of the Bischofshofen–Krems Railway, which provides convenient access to the regional capital, Linz, located about 30 kilometres to the east.
