lankuilla
Lankuilla is a hypothetical planet that was proposed by American astronomer Clyde Tombaugh in the 1930s. Tombaugh, who is also known for his discovery of Pluto, suggested the existence of this planet as a means to explain the irregularities in the orbits of the outer planets in the solar system. According to his theory, Lankuilla would have a mass that is sufficient to influence the orbits of the outer planets, but not so massive that it would be detectable by astronomers at that time.
Tombaugh's proposal was based on his observations of the orbits of Neptune and Uranus. He noticed that
However, despite Tombaugh's proposal, Lankuilla was never detected by astronomers, and its existence was eventually found
