Lógatott is a Hungarian adjective formed from the verb lógat (to hang, to dangle, to suspend) with the past participle suffix -ott. It denotes that an object has been hung or suspended as a result of an action. The sense emphasizes the completion of the hanging action more than the mere state of hanging, which is typically expressed with lógó.

Usage is relatively limited and tends toward descriptive, literary, or technical contexts. In everyday speech, speakers more often use lógó to describe something that is hanging. Lógatott can appear in noun phrases such as lógatott kötél (a rope that has been hung) or lógatott karok (dangling arms), where it functions attributively and agrees with the noun in number.

As a participle, lógatott is declined like other adjectives and can be used attributively with a noun, e.g., lógatott kötél, and inflected for number: lógatott kötelek. It is seldom used predicatively; everyday Hungarian tends to use lógó or other constructions.
