A lämmönvaihdin, or heat exchanger, is a device designed to efficiently transfer thermal energy from one medium to another. They are found in power plants for steam generation and cooling, in HVAC systems for heating and cooling buildings, in automotive radiators for engine cooling, and in chemical processing for controlling reaction temperatures. Their efficiency directly impacts energy consumption and system performance.
